President Bush still plans to push the FTAA forward in 2005. Keep a watchful eye for other trade agreements such as the Central American Free Trade Agreement (CAFTA) that would have a bearing on the eventual passage of an FTAA agreement. We have made progress, and if we can bring more Americans in on the fight, we can preserve our independence, and our way of life.
